Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect captured on this surveillance video. The above suspect is the suspect in multiple theft offenses involving resale sites like “FiveMile” and “OfferUp.” The suspect meets up with people in the 700 block of W. Illinois Avenue to “buy” a laptop or cell phone and hands them an envelope of counterfeit money then runs from the location with their property.
