On November 5, 2020, at around 3:30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call at 3000 Southerland Ave regarding a body found in a wooded area. The body was collected by the Dallas County Medical Examiner, who subsequently performed an autopsy and determined that the victim, Lamarcus Washington, a 31-year-old black male, died from homicidal violence. The victim was previously reported missing by family on September 10, 2020.
