On October 30, 2020, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Dallas police officers responded to an emergency call at 2400 Wildoak Circle. The victim was found with a gunshot wound and transported to Baylor Medical Hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue. The victim, Cozie Mathis, was pronounced deceased several hours later.

WANTED: Jonathan Middleton

The suspect Jonathan Deon Middleton, Black male, 22-years-old was identified as the person who shot and killed the victim. Middleton is 6’03” and weighs 180 lbs. There is an active murder warrant for Jonathan Middleton, who is pictured.
