Homicide Investigation at 1600 block of Caldwell Avenue

Through the course of the investigation, the Dallas Police Homicide Unit identified Frederick Daniels, a 26-year-old black male, as a suspect in the murder of Taboric Lee on December 14, 2020, at the 1600 block of Caldwell Ave. Dallas Police are asking that anyone with information regarding the location of Frederick Daniels contact 911. Anyone with information on the murder is asked to contact Det. Kramer with the Dallas Police Department Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3608 or ronald.kramer@dallascityhall.com. On December 14, 2020, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at the 1600 block of Caldwell Avenue. Upon arrival, they observed the victim, Taboric Lee, a 32-year-old black mal, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital by Dallas Fire and Rescue, where he was later pronounced deceased. Witnesses observed at least one young black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt flee the location on foot after the shooting.
