On Friday, December 25, 2020, at approximately 2:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Copeland Street and Gay Street. Upon arrival, they located the complainant, 35-year-old Bobby Johnson laying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the complainant to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
