On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Crestridge Apts located at 6417 Ridgecrest Road.  Upon arrival, they observed the unknown victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.  Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.  This is an active investigation, and the Homicide Unit asks anyone with information to contact Detective Tonya McDaniel at 214-671-4236 or via email: tonya.mcDaniel.dallascityhall.com.  Please refer to case number 232918-2020.
