On Friday, January 22, 2021, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Family Dollar Store parking lot located at 3510 S. Beckley Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim Braylin Alexander Martinez, a 15-year old Latin male, with multiple gunshot wounds inside a 2005 grey Nissan Altima.  Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

During the investigation, detectives determined that suspect Javius Devarius Williams, a 20-year old Black male, was responsible for the murder of the victim and he is under arrest.  A bond will be set by a Dallas County magistrate.
