On Monday, February 1, 2021, at 1:51 a.m., Dallas police responded to 1001 Ross Avenue regarding a stabbing call.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim lying on the bathroom floor with a stab wound to his neck.  The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.  The victim’s identity will be released once his next of kin has been notified.

Through the homicide investigation, the suspect, Crystal Sanders, a 32-year old black female, was taken into custody and transported to the Homicide Unit, where detectives interview her. After the interview, suspect Sanders was transported to the Dallas County Jail and charged with murder.  A magistrate will set her bond.
