April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During the month of April, we would like to help recognize the importance of families and communities working together to help build strong family ties to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Everyone can help play a role in a child’s life. Child abuse and neglect prevention are possible. Focus on protective factors that help children, youth, and families build resilience and contribute to positive outcomes.
There are many ways that we can work together within our communities to help keep children safe. It starts by investing in stronger support systems for families. Remember, if you see something, say something.
