Animal Cruelty Suspect – 2400 Dowdy Ferry Road

On April 9, 2021, at 12:00 am, the Dallas Police Animal Cruelty Unit arrested 20-year-old Sebastian Acosta for Cruelty to Non-Livestock Torture/Kill which is a 3rd-degree felony. The remaining dog that was seen in the suspect vehicle was seized for protective custody. 

The Dallas Police Department would like to thank the community for their tips that helped identify the suspect which led to his arrest. This is a great example of the community and police working together to help solve and prevent crime.

The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an Animal Cruelty suspect who physically assaulted two Pyrenees-type puppies at 2400 Dowdy Ferry Road causing their deaths on April 7, 2021. The suspect was driving a silver Ford F150 full cab (4 doors) with no license plates.
