Update: April 8, 2021, 9:18 PM

During the course of the investigation, Homicide detectives determined that suspects Andrew Puccella Tyler, a 28-year old black male, and Danyel Nicole Harrell, a 22-year old white female, were responsible for the murder of the victim David Cruz, a 32-year old Latin male.  On Thursday, April 8, 2021, suspects Tyler and Harrel were charged with Capital Murder, and a magistrate will set their bond.

On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 5:48 p.m., Dallas police responded to a call for service at 14900 Lasater Road.  Upon arrival, officers found an adult Latin male in the bedroom unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest.  The victim was declared deceased at the scene.  There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended.  The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are under investigation.
