On May 9, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call at the Heroes Lounge, located at 3094 N. Stemmons Freeway. Witnesses stated that there was a disturbance in the parking lot and an unknown suspect shot multiple times and struck the victim, a 29-year-old Black female. She was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
