Homicide on Webb Chapel Extension

Arrest Made on the Homicide on Webb Chapel Extension. Through the course of the follow-up investigation by the Homicide Unit, detectives determined that suspect Pablo Jesus Vidana-Pereyra, a 27-year old Latin male, was responsible for the murder of the victim, Victor Suarez.  On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, suspect Vidana-Pereyra was arrested for murder and transported to the Dallas County Jail.  A magistrate will set the suspect’s bond amount.

On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at approximately 2:48 a.m., Dallas police responded to 3333 Webb Chapel Extension regarding a shooting call. Officers arrived and found the victim Victor Suarez, a 35-year old Latin male, lying on the ground next to a front door of an apartment with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.  The motive and circumstances surrounding this murder are under investigation. This is an ongoing investigation, and there are currently no suspects identified or apprehended.
