On Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., there will be a first amendment rally “Protest for Palestine” at the Belo Gardens located at 1014 Main Street. Initial estimate shows to be around 100 participants. Traffic congestions in the surrounding area is expected.  Therefore, non-participants living, working or traveling through the downtown area should anticipate delays and/or use an alternate route.

The Dallas Police Department will be closely monitoring the rally and stands committed to ensuring the safety of our community while respecting the rights of individuals seeking to demonstrate peacefully.
