Homicide on S. Barry Avenue

Update: June 28, 2021

Arrest Made in the Homicide at 1300 S. Barry Avenue

During the follow-up investigation, the Homicide Unit determined that suspect Tyle Rasheed Ingram, a 22-year old black male, participated in this murder.  

On Monday, June 28, 2021, suspect Ingram was arrested for an unrelated charge, and he was transported to the Homicide Unit, where the detective interviewed him.  The suspect declined to give a voluntary statement, and he was transported to the Dallas County Jail, where he was charged with Capital Murder.  A magistrate will set his bond.

On Saturday, May 29, 2021, at approximately 9:57 p.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call in the 1300 block of S. Barry Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, Kobe Angel Mascotto, an 18-year-old Latin male, shot inside his vehicle. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. One other individual was shot at the location and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This is an active and ongoing investigation with no one in custody.

The motive and circumstances surrounding this murder are under investigation.
