Homicide at 2900 Frazier Street

The suspect, 24-year-old Troyshaye Mone Hall has been charged with Capital Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She has been booked into the Lew Sterrett Justice Center.

On June 17, 2021, at approximately 1:52 p.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Frazier Street regarding a stabbing call. Upon officers’ arrival, they learned an adult female had stabbed a male juvenile and 7-year-old female child. A witness, who resides at the location, fled to get her neighbor to assist in detaining the suspect. The neighbor responded and was able to physically restrain the suspect. The neighbor then transported the 7-year-old victim to a nearby fire station. The 7-year-old was then taken to an area hospital by DFR where she died from her injuries. 

 

The juvenile male victim was also transported to an area hospital and remains in stable condition.

 

The suspect has been taken into custody and is being questioned by detectives. This remains an ongoing investigation, documented in case number 107297-2021.
