Homicide on Walnut Hill Lane

On June 19, 2021, at approximately 1:43 a.m., the victim, a 51-year-old Latin male and a witness, were driving eastbound 2650 Walnut Hill Lane when they became involved in a minor accident with a dark colored sedan. The unknown suspect then shot the victim and the witness. The victim and the witness then flagged down Dallas Police Officers at 10100 Harry Hines Boulevard. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim and the witness to an area hospital where the victim was pronounced deceased. The identity of the victim will be released once the Homicide Unit has notified the family.
