On July 27, 2021, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 9959 Adleta Blvd. Upon arrival, officers made entry into the residence and found both the victim, a Latin female, and the suspect, a white male, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. The two were involved in an intimate dating relationship together.

At this time the preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect killed the victim and then killed himself. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation. The identity of the victim and the suspect is being withheld pending next of kin notification. This incident is documented on Case Number 134011-2021.
