On Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at approximately 6:26 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Vue on Forest Apartments located at 9750 Forest Lane.  Upon arrival, officers observed the unidentified victim, a black male, lying on the ground in front of the apartment complex near the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the unidentified victim deceased at the scene. Since the unidentified victim did not have an identification card on his person, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office will continue to work to positively identify him. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation.
