On Friday, October 22, 2021, at approximately 6:34 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for police at the 4600 block of Silver Drive. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Anthony Diante Dixon, a 19-year-old Black male, shot in a wooded area. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are still under investigation.
