On Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 7:08 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a stabbing call at 7220 McCallum Blvd. Officers arrived and found the victim Maria L. Lopez, a 44-year old Latin Female, inside her residence with stab wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are under investigation.
