Jakiara Rider was safely located

Critical Missing Person Jakiara Rider has been upgraded to Endangered Missing with Texas Department of Public Safety and the alert has been activated. Persons with information are asked to call Police Department at  911.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the above individual. On December 13th, 2021 at about 2:30pm, Jakiara Rider was last seen on foot on the 7600 block of Hume Drive in Dallas, Texas. Jakiara Rider may be confused and require assistance. 

Jakiara is described as a Black female 14 yrs-old. She is approximately 5’1” in height and weighing around 180lbs., last seen wearing a yellow shirt and black pants. Jakiara Rider has been diagnosed with focal epilepsy and intellectual disability and requires medication for treatment of seizures.
