Help Needed in Identifying Hit & Run Suspect

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle involved in a “Hit and Run” accident on December 24, 2021, at about 10:08 a.m. The suspect vehicle, a dark-colored 2006 to 2008 KIA Sorento L or LX Package with Step-Rails on the sides, was involved in a devastating accident, in which a Hispanic Female victim was struck while walking in a crosswalk at 300 W. Jefferson Blvd. at Bishop Avenue. The victim was dragged for a significant distance then left in the street as the suspect fled the area eastbound on Jefferson Blvd. in the pictured suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle may have a Handicap Placard visible through the front windshield and a bumper sticker on the rear-windshield-bottom left.
