Arrest Made in the Homicide on Reynolds Avenue

Through this investigation, the Homicide Unit determined that the suspects 17-year-old Latin male Josue Daniel Moreno, 19-year-old Latin male Oscar Manuel Castanon, 20-year-old Latin female Jaquelyn Renae Gade Garcia, and 27-year-old Latin male Jesus Garcia Castanon were responsible for the murder of the victim, Crystal Rodriguez, a 17-year-old Latin female.  Suspects Moreno, O. Castanon, Garcia, and J. Castanon have been charged for Murder and a magistrate will set their bonds.

On January 11, 2022, at approximately 2:24 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of Reynolds Avenue.  The victim Crystal Rodriguez, a 18-year old Latin female, was struck in the back while sleeping in her bedroom by unknown suspects in a drive-by shooting.  Dallas Fire-Rescue transported her to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
