This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Block Party will be back in full effect and in person this Saturday, March 12, 2022. This family-friendly parade and festival kicks off at 11:00 a.m., in the 6700 block of Greenville Avenue at Blackwell Street. Street closures for the parade route on Greenville Avenue between Park Lane and Mockingbird Lane will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is expected to reopen at about 4:30 p.m.
The Dallas Police Department anticipates a large number of event goers to be present on and around the Greenville Avenue area this Saturday. Therefore, everyone in an around that area should anticipate increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic and should keep children and pets in close proximity. Parking will be limited, and parking violations will be enforced. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation or carpool. See below for a list of locations and times of the expected street closures. Parking Enforcement will be patrolling the event and surrounding neighborhoods in lower Greenville looking for parking violators.
