On Saturday March 26, 2022, at approximately 1:00 pm, Dallas Police Officers responded to a shooting call at 3508 Rio Grande Cir.  Upon arrival, officers discovered the Suspect, Isidro Arzola, a 34 year old Latin male, and Witness , Gerardo Segura, a 33 year old Latin male, had been involved in an altercation with the Complainant, Jamien Olivares, a 31 year old Black male, when the complainant approached them and fired one round grazing the suspect in the back of his head, the complainant fell to his knee and the victim attempted to shoot the suspect two more times, but the gun jammed.  The suspect and witness called 9-1-1 and ordered the complainant to get onto the ground.  The complainant complied, but then began to raise the weapon as if he was going to fire the weapon again.  The suspect fired one round, striking the complainant.  When officers arrived, they discovered that the complainant was on the ground suffering from a single gunshot wound, and near his body was also a handgun.  Dallas Fire and rescue responded to the location and transported the complainant and suspect to a local hospital, where the complainant succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect was treated and released at the hospital, and was then transported to the Homicide Unit to provide a statement.  This case will be referred to the Grand Jury.
