On Sunday, April 10, 2022, at approximately 4:43 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call at 3525 S. Polk Street. Upon arrival, officers found an adult Black male victim, lying on the ground of the apartment complex grassy area with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The medical examiner’s office will attempt to identify the victim through fingerprint analysis. The motive and circumstances surrounding this murder are still under investigation.
