Dallas Police have arrested 22-year-old DaMichael Rose.
On April 18, 2022, DaMichael Rose, a 22-year-old Black male, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force. He was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters and interviewed by detectives where he stated his involvement in the incident. He was placed in jail for one count of aggravated assault and multiple unrelated warrants. His bond will be set by a magistrate. The Dallas Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect in this shooting.

Detectives were able to obtain a clearer photo (see picture below) of the suspect in the Deep Ellum shooting. On April 10, 2022, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting at 2800 Elm Street. Upon their arrival, they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wearing a red shirt, red shorts with a white Nike swoosh, and white tennis shoes.
