On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at approximately 2:23 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1500 block of S. Denley Drive.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim behind the wheel of a vehicle who had been shot. The preliminary investigation determined the victim was traveling northbound on S. Denley when an unknown suspect fired several rounds at the victim. The victim then crashed into a chain-link fence in front of Highway to Heaven Missionary Church at 1301 Stella Avenue.  This is an ongoing investigation.  The motives and circumstances surrounding this offense are still under investigation.
