Update: May 12, 2022

Andrew Hernandez, 20-years-old has died from injuries.  No arrests have been made. The investigation into his death is ongoing. Mr. Hernandez’s murder will be documented on case number 083402-2022.

On May 7, 2022, at approximately 12:18 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting at 2600 Meyers Street. The suspect, Lawanda Williams, a 30-year-old female, had a fight with a victim, a 22-year-old female. During the fight, Williams took out a gun and shot the 21-year-old.  The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical, but stable condition. Two other victims struck by stray bullets were transported to an area hospital, one in critical condition. Williams was arrested and placed in jail for three counts of aggravated assault.  Her bond will be issued by a magistrate. The case number for this offense is 080386-2022.
