Two arrested in investigation into shooting at 5050 Cleveland Road
On May 11, 2022, Dallas Police arrested Astonial Calhoun, 25, and Devojiea Givens, 26, and charged them with Felony Deadly Conduct. The charges stem from the shooting that happened on April 2, 2022, at 5050 Cleveland Road. A preliminary investigation has determined that following a fight that broke out at the event, Calhoun and Givens both fired handguns. The preliminary investigation determined Givens and Calhoun shot into the crowd. Givens and Calhoun were taken to the Dallas County Jail and a magistrate will set the bond.
Dallas Police were assisted by the U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force and ATF Violent Crimes Task Force in taking the suspects into custody. The investigation is ongoing, with Dallas Police working to identify other suspects who fired weapons, and also other suspects involved in the fight leading up to the shooting.

On Sunday, April 3, 2022, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at a trail ride & concert located at 5050 Cleveland Road.
At the scene, 26-year-old Kealon Dejuane Gilmore was found lying near the stage with a gunshot wound to the head. Gilmore died at the scene.
A preliminary investigation determined that at the event, one individual fired a gun into the air, then another unknown individual fired a gun in the crowd’s direction.
Eleven individuals were transported by private vehicles and ambulances to different hospitals. One victim is in critical condition, the others are in stable condition.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and the motive and the motive and circumstances surrounding this murder are under investigation.

Preliminary information: On April 2, 2022, at approximately 11:36 p.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call in the 5000 block of Cleveland Road. Upon arrival, officers learned that multiple victims were shot while attending a concert. Right now we have a confirmed number of ten individuals that were shot including three juvenile victims who were all transported to an area hospital. We have one confirmed deceased person. This is an ongoing investigation; therefore, details are still being developed. This incident will be documented on case number 057740-2022.
