On May 24, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call at 12270 Greenville Avenue.  Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was shot by the suspect, Christopher Smith a 45-year-old male.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The suspect was arrested for murder and taken to jail.
