Curlee Jobe was arrested without incident this afternoon. He will be charged with murder.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for your help in locating Curlee “Lee” Jobe. Jobe is the suspect who shot and killed William Glen Wright on June 6, 2022, in the 3400 block of Navajo Drive. He is described as a 56-year-old Black male, 6’3” tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

On Monday, June 6, 2022, at approximately 7:36 p.m., Dallas police responded to a major accident involving one vehicle at south Polk Street and Highland Oaks Drive. Several citizens from the area physically removed the victim William Glen Wright, a 57-year-old male, from a 2005 silver Dodge pickup truck. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
It was determined that the incident originated from a disturbance active shooter in a vehicle on case number 101482-2022, involving a red charger and silver Dodge pickup truck that occurred at 6:46 p.m.
