On July 31, 2022, at approximately 2:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to the 1200 block of Moulin Rouge. When officers arrived, they found a male victim, in his late teens to early 20s, being treated by Dallas Fire Rescue.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died.

The preliminary investigation determined an unknown Latin male, wearing all black, was seen running eastbound from the location shortly after shots were heard by witnesses. The victim was later found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the back.

This is an ongoing investigation.

The victim’s identity is pending and being determined by the Medical Examiner.
