On August 14, 2022, at about 12: 55 am, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 10649 Harry Hines Blvd, Pandora’s Men’s Club. When officers arrived they found Arturo Calvillo-Guzman, 22, with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and took Calvillo-Guzman to a local hospital for treatment.
The preliminary investigation determined Calvillo-Guzman, along with the other individuals, were involved in a fight with staff members inside the location and were asked to leave. They became involved in a physical fight with bouncers as they were being escorted out of the business and were then taken to their vehicles by uniformed security guards working at the location.
The investigation shows Calvillo-Guzman left the location and returned approximately 15 minutes later, driving his vehicle directly at the involved security guards near the entrance of the business. Both involved security guards fired their weapons at the suspect and his vehicle, hitting Cavillo-Guzman. The passenger in the front seat was not injured.
This is an on-going investigation.
The Dallas Police SIU was then notified and responded to the location.
The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office was notified and responded to conduct a separate investigation into the incident.
