The name of the arrested person in this fatal hit and run is 66-year-old Julio Calleros Corral. 

Update August 25, 2022, at 2:50 p.m. –

The suspect and vehicle in this offense have been located. The suspect has been arrested and being questioned by detectives. His identity will not be released until he has been booked into jail.

Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a driver in a fatal hit and run. Please see the additional photo of the suspect vehicle.

On August 21, 2022, the driver of the pictured truck hit a pedestrian in the 7000 block of Lake June Road. The driver did not stop and left the scene. The pedestrian later died.

On August 21, 2022, at 5:09 am, officers responded to a call regarding a pedestrian that had been hit by a vehicle. The victim, a 25-35-year-old male, was running eastbound in the 6900 block of Lake June Road when the vehicle hit him. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid. The male victim died from his injuries.
