Information Needed in Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run-9900 Block of Forest Lane

On December 6, 2022, Dallas Police arrested Eddaria Lawrence, 22, for an Accident Involving Death (Failure to Stop and Render Aid) and Manslaughter in the hit-and-run crash that killed 33-year-old Bo Stephens.

Lawrence was taken to the Dallas County Jail.

At approximately 12:07 a.m., a Pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk in the 9900 block of Forest Lane.  The preliminary investigation determined the pedestrian was on his phone and stepped off the sidewalk into the road and a black 2008-2012 Honda Accord traveling at a very high rate of speed struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was thrown from the roadway and into a brick wall nearby.  The driver of the Honda Accord left the scene and did not stop to help without rendering the pedestrian.  The pedestrian died from their injuries. 

 

The Honda Accord is black in color and will have extreme damage to the passenger side, including a missing passenger side mirror, damage to front right head lights, damaged windshield, and damage to the body of the car. The Honda may have a custom racing exhaust or some other customizations that produce loud engine noise.
