Homicide at 2500 Keeler Street

Update: December 15, 2022

On December 6, 2022, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department arrested Deandre Hamilton, 18, and charged him with Murder. On May 10, 2022, Dallas Police arrested a 15-year-old in connection to this case and charged the teen with Murder.

Update: July 7, 2022

The Dallas Police Department is requesting public assistance locating suspect Deandre Hamilton, 18 years of age (pictured below). On April 4, 2022, Hamilton shot and murdered the victim at 2500 Keeler Street. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. Please reference case number 058851-2022.

On Monday, April 4, 2022, at approximately 7:41 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call at 2500 Keeler Street.  The victim Salvador Milan, a 17-year-old Latin male, was found in the front passenger seat of a 4-door black sedan with multiple gunshot wounds.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced him deceased at the scene.  This is an active and ongoing investigation with no one in custody.
