Miguel Sereno turned himself in to the Dallas County Jail on  January 5, 2023 and was charged with murder.

Dallas Police are still searching for the suspect, Miguel Sereno (pictured below). Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911. They should not take police action. This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Dylan Reeves.

On January 1, 2023, at around 12:40 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Mar Vista Trail. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found a man shot and laying in the driveway. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and took the man to a local hospital where he died.

Further investigation determined Miguel Sereno, 18, shot the man after a fight. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived. A warrant has been issued for his arrest and police are currently looking for Sereno.

The investigation is ongoing and the case is documented under case number 000010-2023.
