The suspect in this investigation has been identified as Julian Santana Alvear, 22, and a warrant for murder has been issued for his arrest.

On Thursday, January 26, 2023, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Dallas Police were on a routine patrol in the 5500 block of Tenison Parkway when officers noticed a vehicle with multiple bullet holes. A man was found in the vehicle’s driver seat with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded, and the man died at the scene. This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 015058-2023.
