On April 16, 2023, at about 2:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 4800 block of S. Lancaster Road.  The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found Eddie Daniel Jeffrey, 70, dead, inside a vehicle at the location. 

Mr. Jeffrey was reported missing on April 12, 2023 on case number 061915-2023.

This is being investigated as an unexplained death documented on case number 064264-2023.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Mr. Eddie Daniel Jeffrey.

Mr. Jeffrey is described as a 70-year-old, black-haired, brown-eyed, black man who stands at about 5’3” tall and weighs about 80 lbs.

Mr. Jeffrey was last seen on April 10, 2023, walking in the 4800 block of S. Lancaster Road. He was wearing two light blue jackets, blue and white shirt, and beige pants.  He may be in need of assistance.
