Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in the homicide at 400 N Hampton Road.

On Monday, June 19, 2023, at approximately 6:08 a.m., Dallas Police Officers responded to a shooting call in the 400 block of N. Hampton Road. Upon arrival, officers found the 54-year-old  victim, Nathaniel Ogbolu shot.  Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The preliminary investigation determined that an unknown Black male entered the store and pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money from the register. Before the victim was able to open the register, the suspect shot him several times. The suspect also shot at a witness at the location and missed. The suspect ran from the location on foot.
