The Dallas Police Department continues to investigate the 1979 murder of 50-year-old Dorothy Warden.

On May 22, 1979, Mrs. Warden was found dead by co-workers in her office located in the 3100 block of Mockingbird Lane. The investigation determined an unknown black male in his 40s was seen leaving Warden’s office on the day of the murder.
