Dallas Police continue to investigate three homicides in Southwest Dallas

Update: July 21, 2023

The victim found in the 800 block of Brazos is 31-year-old DeBrenese Henry.

In addition, Oscar Sanchez Garcia has been charged with a third count of Murder in the death of Cherish Gibson.

Update: July 19, 2023

On July 19, 2023, Dallas Police arrested Oscar Sanchez Garcia, 25, in connection to three homicides in Southwest Dallas.

The preliminary investigation identified Sanchez Garcia as the suspect through evidence gathered by detectives. He will be charged with three counts of Murder.

The Dallas Police Department continues to investigate three homicides in Southwest Dallas.

On April 22, 2023, Dallas Police found Kimberly Robinson, 60, in the 200 block of Sante Fe Avenue, case 067988-2023.

On June 24, 2023, Dallas Police found Cherish Gibson, 25, in the 200 block of Sante Fe Avenue, case 114807-2023.

On July 15, 2023, Dallas Police found an unidentified adult female was located in the 800 block of Brazos Street, case 128286-2023.

While the Dallas Police Department has not determined if the three deaths are connected, the investigation has identified that at least two of the victims have possible ties to prostitution.

Out of an abundance of caution, and in the interest of public safety, the department wants to inform this population of this trend.

The investigations into all three cases are ongoing.
