Update:

Dallas Police have identified the suspect in the homicide at 1600 W Mockingbird Ln as 25-year-old Austin Tran. The suspect is charged with murder.

Original Post:

On August 11, 2023, at about 5:20 PM, officers responded to a shooting call at the 1600 Mockingbird Lane. The preliminary investigation determined,  a male suspect entered the business and shot the male victim. The suspect then suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. DFR responded and the victim died. The suspect was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 144877-2023.
