Dallas Police need the public’s help to identify shooting suspect.

On August 20, 2023, at approximately 7:30am, unknown suspect assaulted a woman, and shot a man outside a business in the 9100 block of John W. Carpenter Freeway.

In surveillance video, the suspect can be seen assaulting the woman and the male victim can be seen coming to her aid, then getting into a fight with the male suspect.

The suspect then shoots the male victim in the leg.

The suspect left the scene in a maroon Nissan Altima.
