The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Jalen Sampson.

On September 24, 2023, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of Foreman Street.

The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man had been shot. He died at the scene.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will help to identify the victim.

The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 172079-2023.
