The Dallas Police Department continues to investigate the 2021 murder of 30-year-old Justin Wayne Thompson.

On September 20, 2021, Mr. Thompson was shot and killed in the 3900 block of Cedar Springs Road. The preliminary investigation determined Mr. Thompson was shot by an unknown suspect during a robbery after leaving a bar.
