The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect or vehicle involved in a hit and run crash.

On September 23, 2023, at about 9:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a hit and run crash in the 3300 block of S. Malcolm X Boulevard.  The preliminary investigation determined the suspect, driving a maroon SUV, hit a man as he was crossing the street and left the location.  The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a maroon Cadillac SRX mid-sized SUV.

The investigation is ongoing and documented on case number 171544-2023.
