The Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help to locate the suspect in a homicide on Britton Avenue.
On October 1, 2023, at about 11:00 pm, Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Britton Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined a suspect shot at a man and woman, hitting both, outside of a home in the 3400 block of Britton Avenue. The two victims left the scene in a vehicle, crashing into a parked vehicle in the 2700 block of Britton Ave, flipping the car.
On the surveillance video, a white SUV can be seen driving up near the wrecked car. The suspect [pictured below], identified as Omar Hernandez, 30, is seen getting out of the passenger side of the SUV. Hernandez walks around the victim’s vehicle before firing into the car multiple times, hitting the female victim who was still inside. Hernandez gets back into the passenger side of the white SUV and leaves the location.
The woman, Martha Perez Enriquez, 29, died at the scene. The male victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Omar Hernandez is wanted for Murder and Aggravated Assault- Serious Bodily Injury. This case is documented under case number 176669-2023.

The female victim has been identified as 29-year-old Martha Perez Enriquez.

On October 1, 2023, at about 11:00 PM officers responded to a shooting call in the 2700 block of Britton Ave.
The preliminary investigation determined a suspect shot at a male and female victim outside of a home in the 3400 block of Britton Ave, hitting the man.
The two victims left the scene in a vehicle, crashing into a parked vehicle in the 2700 block of Britton Ave.
The suspect then shot the woman while she was in the car, then left the scene. DFR responded and the woman died from her injuries. The male victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 176669-2023.
